Executive Experience


Greg V. Etter brings broad executive experience to the table when acting as an arbitrator. Greg served as Vice President at both Newmont Mining Corporation and Battle Mountain Gold Company and as General Manager of the Upper Guadalupe River Authority.

Newmont is one of the world’s largest mining corporations, with operations on five continents. At Newmont, Greg was responsible for government affairs, public relations, social development and security. While at Newmont, he also served as V. P. and Executive Aide to the Chairman and CEO, working closely the Chairman on critical issues, projects and priorities.

Battle Mountain was an international company, listed on the New York and multiple foreign exchanges. At Battle Mountain, Greg had an integral role in the management of the company, in addition to being responsible for legal matters and domestic government and environmental affairs.

The Upper Guadalupe River Authority was established as a conservation and reclamation district by the Texas legislature in 1939 and is responsible for stewardship of the Upper Guadalupe and its tributaries. Greg restored the finances and reputation of this entity.
